Highly recommend the services of Albir Family Medical Centre.  Have had a range of treatments from glucose testing, flu jab and, most recently, a tetanus booster.  All communication is first class and staff in the centre are friendly, knowledgeable and very ready to put you at ease.  Great location with public parking nearby, I would not use anywhere else!

I travel 1hr 50 minutes each way to visit Dawn and other medical professionals at Albir Family Medical Centre.  I myself worked for the NHS in the UK and I recommend Dawn as a highly professional, thorough and lovely nurse.  Anyone afraid of smears just visit Dawn. Her calm, kind and caring approach washes away any worries. I cannot recommend highly enough the services offered by The Albir Family Medical Centre - believe you me, I am quite a hard person to please when it comes to caring for my health.

Ladies, PLEASE, get your smear and checks.  They are truly an exceptional centre.

I moved to Spain after livingi n France for 15 years. Several years ago I had breast cancer, I have the brac2 gene so I chose to have a double mastectomy. I have yearly scans and bloods taken and was a little concerned about moving to Spain and continuing my yearly scans, until I found Family Medical Centre.

They have been absolutely fantastic, after consulting with Dr An, they organised for my scans and bloods. They have made my Yearly checks ups very easy as well as being a normal doctors. They are extremely helpful, friendly and very informative. You can get all your medical needs answered here.

I have been registered with the Family Medical Centre, Albir for quite a few years and I can honestly say all the staff have been excellent.   I have never had a problem making appointments and waiting times have always been kept to a minimum.
During a routine medical exam and follow up bloods, my diabetes was rapidly diagnosed and the correct treatment prescribed.  I have no doubt that without the speedy professional services of the Family Medical Centre, Albir, my current physical health would be a whole different story.
As a multi-language service the Centre is especially invaluable to expats and with fees being kept to a minimum, I find it's top-notch service excellent value for money.    I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending The Family Medical Centre, Albir and would find it rather difficult to think of any way the Centre might improve its already excellent service.

My husband and I have moved to Spain for work and were over the moon when I fell pregnant, then the realisation of the situation then sunk in. We were very nervous about having a baby in another country but the Antenatal classes with Dawn were amazing.

With little knowledge of Spanish, talking to gynaecologists was very difficult and we felt we missed so much.  Dawn and the team made us feel much more relaxed and the classes provided a wealth of information that helped us be ready for the birth.  The breathing techniques for labour especially, were a godsend.

I was unlucky enough to endure 9 hours of contractions without pain relief before requiring a Caesarean section. The only way that I was able to cope was using the breathing that Dawn had taught me. I would really recommend all the antenatal classes but for first timer like me the breathing is a must.

I am a 60 year old man with chronic back pain. I recently went for physical therapy because the pain had gotten much worse. After the first session the pain was gone for most of that day and when it returned, it was substantially less. I know this type treatment takes time and I also know that Albir Medical Centre is where I will get that treatment. Polite, professional and engaged staff made the process so easy. I also got a free dental check up in a state-of-the-art dental suite. Obviously, I have become a patient here and recommend you do too.

On behalf of my daughter and new grandson I would like to express our SINCEREST AND HEART FELT thank you and appreciation for the level of service and care provided from Dawn and the team at Albir Family Medical Centre!

We simply cannot fault the first-class service, care, and information and reassurance for my daughter especially as we found out the pregnancy was unknown yet Dawn swiftly arranged for the relevant scans and appointments to take place to reassure that everything was ok and baby was safe and well at 24 weeks!

The Family Medical Centre in Albir is our first choice destination for medical tests, treatment and advice whenever we visit the town. A wide range of medical and dental services is available on site for ex pats, visitors, locals and anyone in need of medical attention.  It also provides access to more specialised medical care.  Service is fast, friendly and sensitive. Having suffered for some time with a recurring neck and shoulder problem I made an appointment to see the physiotherapist / osteopath Simon Ratcliffe. He took the time to listen and explained clearly ,every step of the way, how he was going to treat me. After only a few sessions the problem was resolved and I was given exercises to do at home. Simon is very professional and obviously has a passion for his work. I wouldn't hesitate to return should it be necessary or recommend him to others.

I visited the family medical centre in 2015 and after an examination and discussion, doctor referred me on for further tests.

I was diagnosed with bowel cancer and after operation and chemo, I am delighted to say that I am completely clear of this horrible disease.

I am so grateful that the doctor decided to refer me on and listened to my problem in a very sympathetic and professional manner.

I have been back on several occasions for minor bits and pieces and am very pleased with the treatments and the caring way I have been treated.

Would not hesitate to recommend this practice.  Just wish it was a little closer to where I live!

If you need a friendly face, with people that really care, with a warm and happy atmosphere with very good prices in Albir you really can't go far wrong here. I had reason to go there a few times during my time in Albir and have no complaints... The staff, in particular Amanda and Dawn made us so welcome and put us at ease straight away. You really felt you were among friends. I couldn't fault their service at all.

When I first went to the Family Medical Centre I was unable to walk upright and used a wheeled trolley.

After two visits to the Osteopath, Mr Ratcliffe, I was in much less pain after treatment on my lower back and, instead of needing transport to and from the door, could walk to the nearby Car Park.

Even at 83 years of age improvement has continued with intermittent treatment and I only occasionally need a walking stick.

I have no concern about recommending Mr Ratcliffe as an excellent Osteopath.

The Family Medical Centre is very efficient, friendly and has a relaxed atmosphere, with Experts easily and readily available in many Medical Specialties.

I have received excellent treatment there and continue to recommend the Centre whenever the chance arises.

I attended the Clinic following an Operation for a broken wrist in Mexico, The welcome was very relaxing and I was at ease from the word go.....The attention was very Professional and Caring and the fact that we all spoke English was priceless.

I recently discovered the Family Medical Centre in Albir and what a lovely place it is. All the staff are so friendly and so very competent.

Although I have a SIP card, it was so much better at the Family Medical Centre as I didn't need a translator, thus saving me money.
Also, I felt much more comfortable being able to speak to the doctor directly in my own language.

The medical care I received was second to none, the very best.

Their prices are so much lower than other private clinics making it affordable for most people.

I already recommend the Family Medical Centre to all of my friends and feel comforted that the clinic is there should myself or my family need it.

I have been using the Family Medical Centre for the last two years, and would highly recommend them, always friendly and helpful

Having been recommended by friends, I visited the Family Medical Center to have my ears irrigated and almost instantly could hear better.

A short while later I had cysts. I went again to have a large cyst removed. I received excellent and prompt service. You are always greeted with a smile and the staff speak native English as well as other languages so there are no problems for non- English speakers.

I have nothing but praise and gratitude for everyone at the Family Medical Centre. During my pregnancy and illness post pregnancy I was treated by Dawn, Amanda and Doctor Ann. They were all wonderful not only in their separate fields of expertise but also with their caring attitudes. They will always go above and beyond to ensure your problems are dealt with and rectified as quickly as possible. It is a very personal and caring service and I truly believe that if I hadn't been under their care then I would have ended up being far more seriously ill. They are diligent, friendly, caring professionals who have merged to create a wonderful medical centre. Dawn is an amazing midwife who made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my pregnancy, her experience and knowledge is second to none. The ladies have restored my faith in health care and we can't thank them all enough. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Myself and my wife decided to have our flu jabs this year and we had the pleasure of visiting the lovely Amanda at the centre. We were in and out in about 10 minutes and Amanda was quick and gentle with us, we hardly knew we were having the injection. The price was also surprisingly very reasonable. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely use their services again in the future and recommend them to everyone.
